The Rancho Conejo community is probably one of the more popular places in the subdivision of Newbury Park but is still part of the Thousand Oaks city limits. There are a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés and parks right in Newbury Park but Thousand Oaks is less than 10 minutes East along the Ventura Freeway. At the southeastern corner of this community is the Rancho Conejo playfield and offers a couple baseball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds and open green space. It’s perfect for enjoying on a weekend afternoon or taking a stroll through the neighborhood. Many of these homes sit on cul-de-sac streets and there are two swimming pools, one at the southeastern end and one of the northwestern end but most homeowners drive or ride their bikes to the pool.
